Artvisory's Chinese art Auction a Huge Success
A new record total was set for Artvisory at our November Chinese and Asian arts auction with sales of well over AUD$1.4 million and some very high prices achieved for individual lots. The front-cover Ding Jin dynasty dish was greatly admired at the viewing, both for its visual beauty and for the exceptional skill of its manufacture in the 12th century. Estimated at AUD$25,000-35,000, it soared over these expectations to realise over AUD$100,000 when buyers premium is factored in. This sale was just one of many highlights at the auction, which underlined Artvisory as the market-leader for the sale of Chinese and Asian Arts in Australia.
