Bidding at Our Auctions
Live Bidding
If this is your first-time bidding with Artvisory you will be required to register with us, so please bring along your Government issued photo identification, such as a driver’s licence or passport with you. We suggest that you arrive in good time so that you have sufficient time to register and receive a bidding number prior to the auction commencing.
See below to download and pre-fill a registration form to bring with you.
Please make sure you register in the name you want your final invoice to be made out to as invoices once issued cannot be changed.
Telephone Bidding
Complimentary telephone bidding is available at all our live auctions.
An Artvisory representative will call you approximately 3-5 lots in advance of your nominated lot and you then instruct them to bid as you would in the room.
Telephone Bids must be organised at least 24 hours prior to the auction and are provided on a first come first served basis, as the number of phone lines available are limited.
Please download and complete the telephone bidding form below and return via scan and email to mail@artvisory.com.au or upload to Artvisory by clicking the Upload Files button below and selecting your completed form.
Please note if this is your first time bidding with Artvisory we require a clear scanned copy of Government issued photo identification such as a drivers licence or current passport verifying your name and address and in certain cases a deposit may be required before you can bid.
Absentee Bidding
Absentee Bidding offers convenience if you are unable to attend an auction in person, to bid on the telephone or if wish to stick to a budget.
An Absentee Bid should be set at the maximum amount you wish to bid on the lot/s you are interested in purchasing. Should the lot/s be knocked down at an amount lower than the bid recorded on your form, the lot will be sold to you for the lesser hammer price. If identical bids are received for the same lot, then the first bid received will take precedence.
Absentee Bids must be organised at least 24 hours prior to the auction and we cannot be held responsible for activating any late bids that are received.
Please download and complete the absentee bidding form below and return via scan and email to mail@artvisory.com.au or upload to Artvisory by clicking the Upload Files button below and selecting your completed form.
