Consigned from a private Australian collection, from which Artvisory has sold other works by this artist, two large works featured in this auction by a rising star of Vietnamese art Bui Huu Hung, who was born in 1957. Estimated with consideration of what the artist's works have been selling for on the International market, the first work under the hammer was a five panel screen estimated at AUD$8,000-12,000, which was contested to a buyer premium inclusive price of AUD$91,700.00 setting a new artist auction record, that lasted about 5 minutes, as the following lot a 22 panel screen fetched AUD$98,250.00 which stands as the new auction high for the artist.
