Dan Withey

Dan Withey is a South-Australian based artist, who has a striking and unique visual language. His images talk of a world where dramatic urban development forces nature to adapt, as best it can. His beautiful birds and animals are therefore often juxtaposed with sometimes stark inner-city developments.

Withey's art, although addressing dilemma's of modern day society, such as consumerism, the environment and freedom, are imbued with a playful humour and humbleness that make them accessible to all audiences.
