Shona Wilson

Shona Wilson is a contemporary Australian sculptor, who has engaged with a myriad of natural found materials to create intimate and large-scale, abstract and representational, 2-D assemblages and 3-D sculptures. Shona has consistently exhibited commercially for over 20 years. Her work is held in private and public collections in Australia and the US. She is the recipient of several awards and residencies including ART OMI.

More recently she has also been involved with science/art projects and collaborations as well as continuing with her outdoor Ephemeral Art practice.

Shona is the creator of the “One A Day” Ephemeral Art Project, which has inspired people worldwide and she now facilitates workshops (from pre-schools to adults) in this genre called COLLABORATIONS WITH NATURE.

Shona currently lives and works on the mid-north coast of New South Wales.
